PROJECT DETAILS:

• New Dam construction in a highly environmentally sensitive area.
• Due to the nature of this project and the proximity of the reservoir, soil erosion control was an extremely important element of this project with a top priority.
• Erosion control was performed simultaneously with the actual grading operations.All work was dictated by the current days forecasted weather.
• A combination of erosion control blanket over Conwed 2000 wood fiber and tackifiers was utilized for all areas that were considered sensitive locations.
• Having CPESC (certified professional in soil & erosion control) certified employees involved on this project was instrumental in the successful planning and implication of erosion control measures.
